We work on AI-assisted smart design and manufacturing based on deep learning and machine learhing methods. For instance, the nanomaterial synthesis and nanofabrication process can be optimized for higher throughput and yield through SEM image extraction, prediction, and analysis. Other mechanistic modeling and simulation of practical platforms and engineering processes, based on the underpinnings of thermal, structural, and fluid mechanics, are also of our great interest.
